Hi,

I want to determine the expression level of VEGF-A by ChIP-qPCR, as active h3k4me3 are positively related with VEGF-A expression. the promoter regions of VEGF-A is usually highly methylated at h3k4. So I need to design a primer that covers the promoter regions of VEGF-A. Does anyone know how to do that? Thank you so much!

Look at this article:

Isolation and cloning of human VEGF promoter region

http://www.ijsrp.org/research-paper-0812/ijsrp-p0815.pdf

The authors used some primers and published their sequences.

Below you can see a paper from 1991, but the authors were succesful as well, am I right?
