I am looking for a software solution for team of 20 scientists of various disciplines. In short we are generating omics data (Genome sequences, Metabolomics, RNA sequencing) and I want the scientists to have access to this data to do basic analysis themselves (BLAST, Genome comparisons, compare expression levels of a gene under different conditions).
Ideally I would have a backend for actually processing the raw data (pipeline) but this is not essential.
I imagine that there must be solutions out there for Biotech and Pharma but I have no feel what is typically used by big companies, what is the best and easiest to use front end.
Any input or experiences would be much appreciated.
Just setup a Galaxy server and save the money. Alternatively, you can pay an arm and a leg for CLC and have most of the same functionality.
I've found a long list asking your question. I hope it may be useful to some extent.

I should add the data comes from bacterial genomes
