Hello everyone, Have you appear this error while install the gmap:

I doubt the author will help you attempt to install a version from April. Why not get the latest version and retry ?
There seems to be a problem with avx, which your server perhaps does not support ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions
Quite a cryptic error, to me it's not clear what's wrong. But I know the author is very responsive to emails, so maybe he can help you.
What OS is this? Are you using a non-standard CPU (non-intel/AMD)?
I agree with @Wouter. Your best bet may be to contact GMAP authors with this error.
