Dear users,

I have searched this information in the documentation but I did not find what I need. Is there a way to display, on IGV, the 5' or the 3' of the reads ONLY?

For sure, I can copy my alignment file and then modify it in order to have 1nt reads. But I was wondering if someone was confronted by this..

Any suggestions or help will be highly appreciated! Thanks!

Out of curiosity... Why do you want to do this?

I am working on Ribosome profiling data and Tiling array. In both cases, the 5' of reads gives the essential information and allow a better visualisation of the biological events.

Not directly answering your question, but the ZENBU browser supports this with the overlap mode "5'end" of its "signal-histogram" type of visualisation.

Thank you C. Plessy for this advise, I will check it out. ;)
