Hello,

I am running interproscan-5.21-60 standalone version. I have successfully run one cycle with 20000 sequences which took 2 days. In the next run, I got this error:

2016-11-29 09:51:44,504 [amqEmbeddedWorkerJmsContainer-6] [uk.ac.ebi.interpro.scan.management.model.implementations.RunBinaryStep:156] ERROR - Command line failed with exit code: 137
Command: bin/prints/fingerPRINTScan data/prints/42.0/prints.pval /media/sf_ios_Downloads/softwares/my_interproscan/interproscan-5.21-60.0/temp/arunprasanna_20161128_182222612_eg29//jobPRINTS-42.0/000000008001_000000009000.fasta -e 0.0001 -d 10 -E 257043 84355444 -fj -o 15
Error output from binary:
ERROR: Calculation has exceeded maximum allowed complexity
Fingerprint PRICHEXTENSN matches this sequence
ERROR: Calculation has exceeded maximum allowed complexity
Fingerprint PRICHEXTENSN matches this sequence

However, it is still continuing to run. My doubts are what caused this error & if the run is complete, will it be correct or erroneous ?

Please give your suggestions.

Thanks,
Arun

The answer to your question is here: http://computing.bio.cam.ac.uk/local/doc/iprscan-faqs.html

InterProScan gives me a report file containing some errors from FingerPRINTScan that are weird like : ERROR: Calculation has exceeded maximum allowed complexity Fingerprint PRICHEXTENSN matches this sequence.. This is not a real error, this is just a warning. Don't worry about it. 2.6) Improving performance

Hope this helps

PS: learning advice, always google your error message. in 99,99% of the cases people already had faced the same problem you have.
