Dear all,

I'm getting the following error 'Permission denied' when I try to run kissplice2reftranscriptome after the installation. Does anyone have an idea of what I should do to fix it?

Best, Vanessa

Is that everything that is printed? That sounds like a general Linux problem, nothing specific to kissplice. Check permissions with ls -l, adjust permission to execute with chmod +x <thescript.extension>.

In addition, try to choose accurate tags for a question, "kissplice" would have been a good one. The author of the tool might receive notifications when that tag is mentioned.

Ha! The team at Westgrid gave me the quick solution: add the word 'python' before the command.
