I'm in the midst of writing up my PhD thesis at the moment, and as a massive, massive fan of TeX, I'm of course, writing in it (actually using Overleaf which is incredible). Finding packages to do things you want is pretty straightfoward, but what if there's a package you didn't know you wanted yet?!
It got me thinking, does anyone know of any must-have packages and functions for common bioinformatics tasks? Showing sequence data maybe, or tree drawing without importing an image. (or more general thesis must-haves)
Pretty much anything!
Yep I think that's what I'm using.

is great for general reports as long as you don't want the\chapter{}
environment.
