Meta-analysis: How to join data from different platforms

Hello,

I downloaded microarray raw data obtained using different platforms (affymetrix HG_U133PLUS2, HG_U133A and HG_U133B).

Is there a way to join the data from different platforms into one data set?

Is it possible to join data from Illumina and Affymetrix platforms?

Thank you,

What do you mean joining? The point in doing the meta-analysis is that you will use the results from the datasets separately.

When i first started in bioinformatics, integrated analysis was literally just merging files. These days it's mainly merging intervals/peaks from different files. I believe in another 4 years we'll start using the word integrated properly :)
