Diff between User interface and command based analysis

I am new to analysing the NGS data. I understand that Galaxy is a user interface for performing various analysis on NGS data. I wanted to know what is basic difference between Command based and Galaxy. I think both generate VCF file as their output data. Thanks in advance

Always I prefer doing it command line and mostly on servers. First of all, for a new user online interface is informative and interactive. Later on, for the custom analysis, you have to seek the alternative way since you have to customise you run and pipeline.
