Hi everyone, I just have a basic design question. For my analysis I want to compare two groups of patients (CKD vs Non-CKD). I have 1 sample from each of the 5 Non-CKD patients, 1 sample from each of 4 CKD patients, and 2 samples from 1 CKD patient. Would it be alright to use the 2 samples from the same patient at the same time or would it be better to just include 1 sample? Thank you very much!

What Is the difference between those two samples? are they different conditions ?

No, they are from the same condition and would be in the same group for analysis.

I guess the most appropriate would be to merge both datasets of the same condition/sample/individual.
