The Bioinformatics Data Engineer will work with big data and large scale genomic sequencing projects utilizing high performance compute clusters. The role includes managing bioinformatics pipeline software infrastructure and handling large datasets. This position works closely with bioinformaticians, laboratory directors, software developers, and lab personnel. There is additional overlap with developers of the Health Innovation Platform, a unique effort at PPM to translate healthcare innovations in personalized medicine to the electronic health record and treating clinicians.
