Does anyone have a guide on how to create circular MSA comparisons with (for example) Circos?
I've tried AliTV, which creates the relevant alignments with lastz
and can be displayed either in linear or circular format, like so:
Where each of the blue segments is an operon (in this case). This is fine, except I've found AliTV to be extremely clunky, and their circular visualisations are only experimental, so they lack a lot of config options compared to the linear ones.
Any other suggestions are welcome, but Circos seems to be the go-to solution from what I gather.
Maybe try OmicCircos?
