I have just checked some of the top ranked questions under
https://www.biostars.org/t/Open/?sort=votes&limit=all%20time&q=
And some of them appear to have 0 answers, while when opening the question, there are answers. Editing with 0-changes seems to help, but it is too much to manual work to do this for each.
Example: Picking A Programming Language And Where To Begin shows 0 answers in the list and has several.
I recently started looking at posts which get auto-bumped to accept answers/move comments and accept. But that's just on a small scale.
Maybe Istvan can fix this on the back end? I'd think running a script on the database would be a fraction of the work of manually editing the posts :)
Is there a feature request or bug tracking mechanism in place that I've missed on Biostars? - For example, I keep getting badges for posts that I wrote ~3 years ago, when they appear to be driven by a much more recent post.
The only real place would be github or biostar-central (a google group). The badge thing is a known issue as far as I can remember.
There this google group: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/biostar-central but I don't feel it is natural to post there.
https://github.com/ialbert/biostar-central/issues is the issue tracker of the software, but this is not necessarily a software problem but a db inconsistency.
This was what I wanted to say ;)>
