I've only put short summaries here, so please click through to the adverts to see the full information, including the link to apply. I'm not directly involved in recruitment, but can answer some general questions. As I've mentioned here before, I think Ensembl is a fantastic place to work and I strongly encourage anyone to apply.
We're at the EBI in Hinxton, near Cambridge. Jobs are open to any nationality, and EMBL's visa exempt status means we can get anyone over here. I know people are worried about jobs in the UK due to Brexit, here is a document explaining our status post-Brexit - essentially, EMBL isn't EU so Brexit won't change the UK's status in EMBL and our visa exempt status means it doesn't affect anyone's ability to live and work here. Also, Ensembl is mostly Wellcome funded, which is not linked to the EU.
There are many other jobs advertised at the EBI, including post-docs, bioinformaticians, training officers, curators etc. It's always worth looking there for any bioinformatics-related jobs.
Visa exempt status is awesome! I didn't even know that was a thing...
EMBL, CERN and ESA have it, plus someone else (I want to say something environmental).
It seems to delete my paragraphs when I put in links.
