It may be a cool profession for those who have strong analytical and statistical skills. As it is a branch of science that deals with Molecular Biology and Information Technology therefore it is a very challenging yet interesting profession. In India there are many institutes which offers courses in Bioinformatics, but one should remember, in order to get success as a bioinformaticians he should have good programming as well as Subject knowledge in the field of Biology.
