Dear All,

I have a question about whole genome sequencing of a virus. There is a viral sample but in a serum of human sample And would like to have deep sequencing to assemble the whole genome of this virus. So what should be the coverage of mine? Could you please give me an opinion. By the way the virus is Parvovirus.

Thanks in advance

What is the expected genome size for the virus? Are you able to enrich the viral sequences in any way to have better chance of sequencing them?

the expected genome size for the virus is around 5-6kb. And do you have any idea how should I have a chance to enrich the viral sequences?

Oligonucleotide probes for target capture or PCR based amplification.
