David Lipman and the GenBank team have been nominated for a Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medal, that highlights excellence in our federal workforce. He/they are also in the running for the People's Choice Award.
Lipman arguably deserves a Nobel for BLAST, but we can't vote on that. So let's at least get him this recognition.
