Is It Possible To Add Line Numbers To Code Samples In Biostar?

It seems to me that it would be very useful to add line numbers to code snippets. This facilitates comments/discussions directed at exact pieces of code, rather than having to paste the code in question into a comment (rather grotesque), as I have done here: Selecting Random Pairs From Fastq?

It would be even cooler if one were able to create a URL to specific lines of code...

Is this possible?

I dont think BioStar has this kind of facility in their forum. But pastebin is efficient tool for this kind of work. It's easy to share long lines of codes with short link and line number.

I strongly recommend to use pastebin because it's more professional way to share code between developers
