Hello! I am trying to perform a conditional analysis from meta-analysis summary statistics. I have tried GCTA-COJO, which suggests to use one of the large participating cohorts if individual genotype data are not available. For example, Wood et al. 2014 Nat Genet used the ARIC cohort (data available from dbGaP). Has anybody ever tried to retrieve these data? Are these data publicly available? Are these binary plink files (bed/bim/fam)? Any alternative suggestions? Please let me know. Thanks, kind regards. Alessandro
They should state clearly in the published manuscripts where the data may be stored, and then on the hosting website itself it should state how one can access the data. In some situations, there are restrictions placed on data and access is controlled, in which case you may have to request access to the data via the party who uploaded it.
