Can spliceR be used to classify the AS events for denovo transcripts?

I have no reference genome for my organism. I want to classify AS events. spliceR is well suited for AS event classification. Can this be used for my RNA seq data.

Yep it can - it relies on comparing the (assembled) transcripts to one another.
