Hi guys,

I have 10 genomes and I need to visualise them in circular graph and I want to show difference between these genomes. For example if there are two mutations in one gene I would like to have a coloured sign in this place. Can you tell me which software should I use or how to do it?

Take care though...Doing all 10 in one circle may be a bit unreadable, hard to interpret.

You can use CIRCOS, one of the popular visualization tool, written in PERL as suggested by Pierre. There is one more R package which can help you ie.CIRCUS.

I would strongly suggest using BRIG (Blast Ring Image Generator) instead of Circos. It gives slightly more granular images in my opinion, with much less messing about.

You can use this tool which is based on CIRCOS, but easier to use if you are not very proficient with coding stuff: http://omgenomics.com/circa/

It is not free though.

You might consider investigating if a hive plot would give you a less convoluted figure.
