Hi there!
I've just wandering if there is a simple way to build an excel spreadsheet with data imported from for example Sift, Polyphen, HGMD databases? I've once seen such thing and it was a real alternative way of analysing gene variants.
I use Illumina Variant Studio but it doesn't have many informations I need so meybe I can construct a substitute to that with excel?
Thanks for all your help!
My understanding is that most of these tools support tab separated output format. This format should be good enough to use output files in excel. Are you looking any other output format (for eg. .xls or .xlsx)?
Maybe I don't tell exactly what I should. I need to construct something like spreadsheet which can automatically import specific informations for gene variants. For example in Variant Studio there is no information about HGMD or Mutation Taster and I saw that some of research institutes have all of needed information in some kind of spreadsheets and this wasn't special variant browser software.
