Thinking at the very least the input/output requirements, and the type of system/language doing the processing would be meaningful; meaning that that information does not include "why" the pipeline exist, or how it goes about achieving the results.
If not, any suggestions on what information on the pipelines would be of use?
This would have been my answer as well.
+1 @Casey Bergman: Cool, thanks! Appears myExperiment "has over 3000 members, 200 groups, 1000 workflows, 300 files and 100 packs" -- pretty interesting, but appears the focus of this project is to internalize everything referenced via the workflows. My interest is more of a directory of pipelines that's easy to query and sort. Again, thanks for posting though, it's a super interesting project!
The MyExperiment project is an open source project and the people running it are very open to collaboration. If you think it can be improved by adding more search or sorting facilities why not ask them? They might already be working on that, or there might be options that you missed. And they would probably be even more happy if you would want to help adding it yourself.
