HI When I run blast2go I want to receive statistics about how many sequences fit to each category. When I go to statistics in the blast2go I only manage to generate graphs. How can I receive the data in numbers ( for example 500 sequences belong to process x) and not only see the bar graph? Thank you!

You should be aware that blast2GO runs a three step procedure. First a blast, then a mapping to GO terms of the results and then a full annotation using the results of both earlier steps. It thus gives evidence for every annotation which might be hard to use the way you suggest.

According to this scheme, which was taken from here, what you are looking for is the annotation file. Note that it is not the mapping file, which does contain information like you are looking for, but before the blast2GO algorithm itself is applied.

And in the FAQ it says you can get it like this:

Q: How do I obtain all the sequences present in a given slide (GO term) of the pie charts or node of the Combined Graph?

A: When you create the combined graph (prior to the pie charts), there is an option to export the graph information as txt file. This is represented by an icon with the letters txt on the graph top bar. In this file you can find all sequences annotated to each term present in the combined graph or pie chart.
