Hi,

I have compared two samples from similar tissue in two different persons to find differential methylated regions but results did not show any difference between them. Is it true in biological manner?

Thanks

From a statistical perspective, it is not possible (generally) to say that two things are "the same" based on not finding differences. That said, I suspect that if you make a scatterplot of sample 1 vs sample 2, they do not lie on a line but have some scatter.

The details of how you "compared two samples" might help sort out why you did not find any differences.

I have used minfi package for preprocessing and seqlm to find differentially methylated regions.
