how to get ko definition by using KEGG API?

Hi, I have many KO IDs and I want to get these KO IDs definition by using KEGG API. But I found some examples in KEGG API official website didn't work. Is the KEGG API still available? or I use the wrong way. This is my API url (http://api.kegg.net/get/ko/K00768). Is there anyone could provide an available KEGG API url for KO ID K00768? very appreciate.

Did you subscribe and pay the licence fee? If yes, you can contact the API's help desk. According to the manual at kegg.net the URL should look like this http://www.kegg.jp/entry/K00873 .

You can get all definition at http://rest.kegg.jp/list/ko

If you want to get only K00768 definition, you can use http://rest.kegg.jp/find/ko/ko:K00768

not a direct answer to OP. But OP can try getting KEGG KO information from togows (web services) server. For eg for getting definition for OP mentioned KO: http://togows.org/entry/kegg-orthology/K00873/definition
