I am looking for a motivated PosDoc to join my lab to study Structural Variations using different technologies (such as Pacbio, Oxford Nanopore, 10x genomics) and also across large populations in Human and other organisms.

This new Postdoctoral Associate position will provide support for multiple projects involving

  • The development of novel computational methods
  • Improve SVs calling
  • Annotation of SVs
  • Analysis of population data

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Published at least two first author papers in English and demonstrated written communication skills in English.
  • Genomics and Next-Gen Sequencing tools (SAMtools, BWA, bedtools, etc.)
  • Experience in computational method NGS development (Python/Perl/C++)
  • Experience in working with UNIX & Cluster environments (SGE/Slurm)
