hello everyone, I have coursework in my master I know I have to use excel and some formula but I really do not understand how can I calculate without doubling time etc. I am copying question directly.

A strain of Pseudomonas capable of growth on salicylate was isolated and grown on a minimal medium containing salicylate as sole C source. The culture was sampled and the number of colony forming units per ml determined. Calculate the specific growth rate for the exponential phase of growth, include the graphs you use and explain your method. (4 Marks) Time (h) cfu/ml 0 1.2 x 104 4 1.5 x 104 6 1.0 x 105 8 6.2 x 106 10 8.8 x 108 12 3.7 x 109 16 3.9 x 109 20 6.1 x 109 24 3.4 x 109 28 9.2 x 108

Thank you for all.
