We have released LINK (LIterature coNcept Knowledgebase), the latest resource in our Open Targets toolkit.
LINK
is a free resource that allows you to explore more than 500 million relations between genes, diseases, drugs and other key concepts. We have used natural-language processing (NLP) to extract these connections from PubMed abstracts.
LINK
is more than just a repository of literature. You can use it to:
- formulate new hypotheses on the role of genes in disease
- highlight repurposing opportunities for existing drug compounds
- reveal new trends and connections made in the literature about your gene or disease of interest.
LINK
is still under development and we really need your feedback!
Test it out and let us know what you think. You can email us or get in touch with us on Twitter.
Want to help us build LINK and other tools in Open Targets?
We are looking for two developers to join Open Targets. Deadline is only 3 days away.
