Hello,

Since I encountered problems on the mainpage of SIFT (http://sift.bii.a-star.edu.sg/) I wanted to know if the SIFT-predictions shown within PROVEAN are a correct substitute-source? (http://provean.jcvi.org/genome_submit_2.php?species=human)

This peculiar Question arises through my finding that I see different result-values for the same variant in different sites/programms (e.g. VariantEffectpredictor, VarSeq and so on). Maybe its due to different used freezes of SIFT? I see the same for Polyphen2-results.

Thank you very much for your help, kind regards, Michael
