Hi all,
I am working with expression data and comparing males and female gene expression on two different diets (using edgeR). The first thing I would like to do is separate my DGEList element into three components.
- genes that are only expressed in females
- genes that are only expressed in males
- genes that are expressed in both sexes
Most genes are expressed in both sexes, but some are only in males while others are only in females. I would like to analyse these types of genes separately... and how these different gene seta respond to diet.
thanks,
