Hello,
I have to find some information in papers in order to find genome locations, and all of them are described as: -345 -1700 , etc... I guess they are nucleotide positions in the gene, but how can I find out the chromosome position of that region? (coordinates that I can use in Genomic Ranges)?
I guess I don't understand that kind of notation. Is it -33 from the promoter start? what would a + symbol mean ? such as +456 position?
Thank you.
