Hello, I'm wondering if there is a file, line in a file, or some flag that detects when a NextSeq, HiSeq, and MiSeq run is complete? This is so a script can detect when a particular sequence run is complete. There should be a file, or a way to look at a particular time stamp of a file, or even a line in a file with a flag. If it's different for each machine, could you let me know of if it's the same for all 3 machines. Thanks!

Look for one of these files the FC folder. RTAComplete.txt (HIseq/MiSeq), SequenceComplete.txt, RTAComplete.txt/CopyComplete.txt (NovaSeq).

Some sequencers continue to write data to other directories (HiSeq 4000, possibly NovaSeq) even when these files are seen. So to be safe add another hour before you start copying the data out/analyzing it.

I remember there is one file named *complete*.txt in the run folder when it's done.
