Hello,
I've used SNP-data from bears to calculate coefficients of relatedness in the R package related. Now I want to use this information to build a pedigree. Does anyone know a userfriendly software that could do this?

I know the post is a bit old, but you should be better off using Colony2 to reconstruct pedigrees. Colony2 will infer mother-offspring, father-offspring, and full- and half-sib relationships. The program will also attempt to generate hypothetical genotypes and infer relationships in the absence of real maternal and/or paternal genotypic data. Colony2 is a command line program, so if by user-friendly you mean with GUI, no, the program does not have a window-based GUI.

Santiago, do you think Colony 2 would be suitable for our current need? : Tools to check consistency between VCF genotypes and pedigree-stated sex and family relationships
