Hi,
I am trying to use a tool that is based on mysql 5.1.7. The old command that I need to use (in case of mysql 5.1.7) is: mysql_local_infile=1
Has this option/parameter changed in mysql-8.0.11? Would you please help me finding the new command for mysql-8.0.11 that will fulfill the same purpose for mysql_local_infile=1?
Thank you very much.
OrthoMCL can be a pain to install, try Proteinortho, or another tool.
PorthoMCL implements the same algorithm as OrthoMCL, but drops the requirement for a database.
Have you used it? It seems also not working. Github issues are also inactive.....
No, last time I did this analysis I used OrthoMCL, but I remember having problems with the MySQL install. OMA is a frequently used option, but I never used it.
Unless there is a new page I am unaware of, OrthoMCL is inactive as well, the last release is version 2.0.9, from 2013-07-18.
I am sort of stuck at this.....Can't find a way out.
If you need a specific answer for the question above then you may need to try other forums that focus mainly on IT related things. MySQL has one. Otherwise consider using one of the alternate programs @h.mon has provided links for.
Did you even try PorthoMCL?
There are several ways out, but some harder than others. You have been suggested three or four alternatives to OrthoMCL. You could install an older MySQL - which is a bit annoying, but feasible.
