So I am a bachelor student doing an internship. Right now I am developing an R package. I cannot tell much more about this because it is slightly confidential.
I however wanted to ask about the lncRNA2Funcion data. It seems to have been offline for quite some time now. I can however say that I WILL need this data for the package. Does anyone know if there is a mirror available somewhere or someone that has this data?

I specifically need the "Expression values of 13249 lncRNA and 20447 protein-coding genes across 19 human normal tissues." file from the download link above, sadly this file has not been saved by the web archive.
Thanks in advance if anyone knows something about this!
Have you considered emailing first and senior authors on that paper as a start to see if they can make the data available?
We've tried this already, it's been tough so far.
Then sadly you have hit upon one of the major issue that plagues field of bioinformatics. It is has to do with orphan software and data. There is no mechanism to ensure continued availability of data/software (and no monetary support for it either). If you don't get any response from the authors you could try writing to the journal editor. Otherwise start working on a plan B that does not involve this data resource.
