I am looking for someone (maybe student) who knows python (good), keras (basics or advanced), tensorflow (basics or advanced) and who can participate in a small project concerning image recognition in histological slides. A publication is planned.

could you post a bit more detail regarding your own research background, where the project will be based, whether the student will need to secure their own funding, whether they can work at-distance, please.

There is no open position associated with this project. That's a rather pilot project we are doing at University Clinic of Bonn. The work is supposed to be at-distance, maybe 3-4 hours pro week. The project is about using convnets for recognizing tumor, subtyping the tumor in histological sections. And automatization of the process through a small bioinformatic pipeline. No financial support is needed. This is more a project for experience / in the perspective co-authorship in a publication.
