We're currently recruiting two bioinformaticians. The first is in a lab working on epigenetics. In particular, this group is focused on heterochromatin and repetitive elements. Ideal applicants will have experience with RNA-seq, ChIP-seq and ATAC-seq. Ideally applicants also have experience with repetitive elements.
The second position in an immunometabolism group. Here, it's vital that applicants have a pretty decent biological background. We can assist in getting the successful candidate up to speed on the bioinformatics part, but what this group really needs is someone who can liaise efficiently with the post-docs and graduate students in the lab about their projects.
