Hi!
I would like to analyze data (Bacteria genome sequences) from a certain Bioproject Data Type Genome sequencing and assembly
I can download Assemblies. But I would like to work with raw reads to check the variability of a particular genome sequence in a population (groundwater metagenome).
Thus, I have a question: If somebody uploads metagenome assemblies to NCBI Bioproject - isn't it necessary to upload SRA?
Thank you for your help!
afaik, not necessarily. Maybe you can still find somthing at the EBI?
Thank you, will try to search there. But considering difficulties with genome assembling and new approaches what are released each year - isn't it worth to upload SRA - what if somebody else will assemble this data in the future?
