Hey guys, can somebody help me to identify what these colors on ideogram mean (picture included).

Genome Data Viewer

There are Genome Data Viewer legends, but they do not tell anything about these colours (example: pink in upper ideogram or orange/greenin other one).

Thank You.

Color codes for the graphical views are described on this help page. Pink region is the centromere.

I have checked these legends but there is no information about colours that i ask. That pink is centromere is known from basic knowladge but others are still unknown, atleast for me.

I don't have a great monitor so the colors look a bit off but at least the orange one is likely for segmental duplication. A quick email to NCBI help desk should generate a response in 2-3 working days.

We updated the legend with image to clarify sequence track/segments coloring: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/tools/sviewer/legends/#anchor_8 Finished HTGS - blue
Draft HTGS - orange WGS - green Other - gray
Gap - black

this is from genome data viewer (NCBI)

the pink regions are clearly the centromeric region but what are the blue regions that can be seen in some of the chromosomes
