Now for the actual information:

First and foremost, Biostar does not store any information on users beyond the information that the users themselves provided. Users who want to remove their information can readily do so by anonymizing themselves on their account page.

Edit your email, name, and location to say Anon or [e-mail] or something similar.

Note that you can edit every post you make.

We do not delete posts because doing so would compromise data integrity. If we delete a post, we would also delete all answers and comments connected to it, and that would be unfair to the people who created those posts since they did so for the greater good.

We would kindly ask you to keep your post content and only modify personally identifiable content (if you have any in your prior posts). If you asked a question and someone else took the time to answer, they did so for the benefit of future readers. A common courtesy would be to let their contribution remain in context.

After all, there is no reason to remove a post once you are an anonymous user.

If you feel that a post you made divulges some information and you are adamant about removing the content, then you can edit the post and remove that content and add some minor placeholder information that informs the readers of the action, for example:
