What's the most concerns when you select which database to share your data? European Genome-phenome Archive (EGA) vs Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) . It looks more and more researcher select EGA as the database to share the data. However, I just find GEO is more convenient to access and re-analyze the data.
Thanks
Do you really mean EGA or just ENA? The former allows for controlled access and is therefore rather different from GEO. ENA is a bit more similar, though it doesn't support adding things like VCF files. ENA has the easiest submission requirements (vastly simpler than GEO/SRA in my experience).
What's the aim for controlled access?
You generally can't just release human data.
