How to install MyRAST tool on Linux Mint correctly?

I have followed instructions at the SEED page, when calling myrast get:

How to fix that and how to call MyRAST 32 and -64 from the command line?

You could crack open those perl files and see what is might be tripping the error at those lines (if you have not already). I see there is an ubuntu specific distribution, you could try that. Linux mint looks nice but Ubuntu is so popular that googling errors is usually much easier.
