Hello! I'm having trouble understanding how to compare different models of evolution by using the likelihood ratio test. I know that I should compare M0 and M1a and M1a and M2a. I have the following data:
M0: w=0.81; lnL=-5702.55
M1a: wo=0.50, po=0.65; w1=1.0, p1=0.35; lnL=-5650.21
M2a: wo=0.46, po=0.64; w1=1.0, p1=0.25; w2=2.38, p2=0.11; lnL=-5632.10.
So comparing M0 and M1a: LR=2(-5650.21+5702.55)=104.68.
And now I should use a Chi table to make assumption whether to reject the simple (M0) model or not. So I take a look at a table and df=1. But I get confused. Am I supposed to look at the p-value p0 or p1? And compare it with the p-value that the table presents at the corresponding LR value?
Thanks in advance!
