I've read one post that claims secondary structure prediction is dead because there hasn't been any progress. Is it still dead if someone comes up with a method that is 95% accurate?
I would like any references to key papers on this subject that establish the best available protein structure prediction numbers? I'm not sure what the expected accuracy is of the best available methods or even what they are from searching around on google scholar. Just want some help getting my feet wet.
References are much appreciated.
