Hi,

Kindly i never used the dbGaP data sets, iam looking for gene expression data sets in :

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/projects/gap/cgi-bin/study.cgi?study_id=phs000424.v5.p1

I used to down load data from GEO which is micro-array expression data ( zip files) ,

but could not find the same format in dpgab

Please could you help

While there may be one set of Affymetrix data most of this data is from Illumina sequencing. You also need to have authorization to download this data. Instructions to get authorized are clearly linked under Important Links and Information on the page you linked.

Yes, that is a next gen. sequencing study - GTEx. Do you need the 'raw' read files (FASTQ) or the raw counts? The raw counts are available free to the public on the main GTEx website.
