Hello all

I am using Plink 1.07 to perform all analyses on my dataset but recently I found KING and that it can give info on relationship inference but I don't seem to be able to make it work.. Do I do it through command line? Do I start it while I use plink? I'm at a loss so any help is appreciated

The manual seems pretty straightforward. What, in particular, are you having trouble with? What have you tried? You can run it from the command line if you use Windows 10 and utilize the Windows Subsystem for Linux, which is a much better option than something like cygwin.

Sorry but I seem to be pretty lost about it haha. I am using plink via the command line and I have KING in the same file as plink. I supposed both plink and KING have to be on the same directory in order for KING to find the bed files it needs for analyses, no?

So i just open the command line and do what? I must seem so dumb :P

What do you mean by having KING in the same file as plink? Or did you just put the executable in the same directory? The latter is fine.

You need to read the manual I linked above for KING. It gives example command line runs that should help you figure out what you need to do.
