Hi,

I'm working on a PowerPoint for a meeting and I want to include some bioinformatics cartoons to help explain what I'm doing. I will present my genotyping project to lung specialist and I'm sure they don't have any idea what bioinformatics is.

Thanks everyone

Thanks Baboune, I've spent 20 mins looking at cartoons, and I came to the website to look up a topic on identifying population outliers in GWAS!

Very funny post!! I didn't realise the world of bioinformatics was so vague... why did I do an MSc in the subject again???? :D

You may also be amused by Biostatistics Ryan Gosling!

This was just an illumina ad for RNA-seq, but I found it amusing.

The first one is originally from the New Yorker. I saw it in this book which by the way comes with a DVD-ROM for easy use in talks.

Not really a cartoon, but I have a T-shirt where this is printed on the back:

jagh.pl

And yes, that is executable Perl!

I found this strip is pretty good ... Its more relevant to PI`s and postdocs, but still worth mentioning.
