For the curious, here you can find an exhaustive list of genome annotation tools (structural annotation). Looking at this list we understand how difficult it might be to choose a tool.

Nice one ! There is a legend for everything except the "Combiner" type. Is the same as hybrid ?

Hybrid is for ab initio tools that use extrinsec information to improve their predictions.
Combiner is different: The general idea is that they combine/choose information/prediction from different sources (e.g prediction from 3 different abinitio tools). They are also called chooser. I try to explain the concept in slides 49 to 54 in that course.
