Good afternoon. I apologize if my question is obvious, but I am new to the area and have difficulty. I have a vcf file of many sequences, and I only need to extract some sequences (2) in fasta format. So far I couldn't get a command on gat to perform this extraction. could someone point me to something where I could find an explanation and the execute command?

vcf's typically don't have sequences, are you sure that's what kind of file you've got?

I received this mission. I confess that I found it strange because until then I thought that vcf was a file that contained only the variants and information of them. então não é possível?
